I write the occassional article related to MIDI sequencing, synthesizers, drum machines and other MIDI devices.  The articles you will find here are based solely on my personal experience and not because IŽve got some fancy piece of parchment hanging on the wall. I hope you find them useful and informative.  If you notice something wrong, please Contact Me and let me know about it.  If you have written an article that you would like to see here, send it my way.

Bandwidth
(1) The upper and lower limits of a range of frequencies a signal possesses, or that a piece of equipment will pass. It should not be confused with frequency response, which concerns itself not only with the upper and lower limits but also how frequencies are amplified or attenuated between these two points. (2) One parameter on a parametric equaliser.
