If you're handy with a soldering iron, you don't have to plunk down big bucks for high-quality audio/ cables like Monster Cables.  They're great cables, don't get me wrong... and if you can't use a soldering iron or just plain don't want to mess with it; By all means, get you some!

The people over at Revision3 have released the fouth episode in their SYSTM Internet TV show.  And, man does it rock!  In the latest episode, they take you step buy step on making your own pro audio and video cables just as good as the ones that cost big bucks without breaking the bank.  They also explain some technical aspects of the type of their web site.  Be warned, though... it is a big-ass download.
