With apologies to Stephen Hawking

A Brief History of TomOkay. . . so, hello.  How on earth did you wind up here?  I suppose it doesn't matter.  You're here.  So, make the best of it.  There are still a few bugs on my web site.  I'd appreciate it if you would cut me some slack. . .  Thanks.

My name is Thomas M. Parker.  I'm married with two daughters. . . they're very young - so don't ask me anything stupid.  My friends call me Tom. . . to my face.  I'm young enough to enjoy an Eminem tune every now and then and old enough to be Britney Spears' father (and probably Eminem's too.)  I live in Gulfport, Mississippi - U.S.A. and this is my web site.  I have set it up primarily as an outlet to showcase some of the music I have written.  Listen to some of it. :)

Overall, this is just a place for me to mess around, have fun and experiment.  For the record, I am not particularly an authority on anything.  The things I write about in the articles posted on this site are purely from my own personal experience, experimentations, and fetishes.  If you find anything here of use to you, I am honored.  If you think this place is useless waste of your time, then, by all means, go away and don't come back. :grr

Otherwise, thanks for stumbling in here. . . surely you didn't come here on purpose, did you?

P.S.  Don't forget to read the Rules.  Oh, yeah... some of the stuff in here you can't access unless you Register.

So, I took this political test today (12-09-2005) and this is what my results were:

You are a

Social Liberal
(65% permissive)

and an...

Economic Conservative
(71% permissive)

You are best described as a:

Libertarian

Ok... so, the above test is located at a place called OKCupid.com. It is a dating site. Somebody asked me the other day "What are you doing messing around on a dating site? Aren't you married?" And, I said, "Don't be an idiot... I signed up the take the freaking test."

'Nuff said. :shutup

Studio Jargon
Partial
(1) A single frequency, sinewave component of any sound. all sounds are composed of a number of partials. There are two classes of partials. See also Harmonic and Inharmonic. (2) Used confusingly by Roland to refer to a basic sound generator in a number of its "LA Synthesis" products, beginning with their MT32.
